Inside My Make Up Bag

Any stylin' outfit needs to be complete with some fab hair and make up. Don't even get me started on the hap hazard look of a stunning outfit on someone who couldn't be bothered to put their face on. I  love make up and wear it religiously, but am admittedly not one to really play with it. I've been wearing one signature look for a while now. It makes application quick and easy in the morning!
Here's a look into my make up bag:

1 - First I apply CG Smoother AquaSmooth Compact Foundation all over my face making sure its blended to my neck. This foundation is lightweight and not creepy or gloopy like other thick foundations you apply with sponges. I've been using this foundation since high school. Most people are surprised to find out I even wear foundation it is that invisible.

2 - Next, I line only my lower inner lid with Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in Black.

3 - Applying MAC Eyeshadow in Woodwinked is the next step. Woodwinked is my go -to color because bronze is the most attractive shade for blue eyed gals. Why ever stray from the best color for your pretty pupils!

4 - The most attention getting part of my make up routine is the application of Sephora Collection Long-Lasting 12HR Wear Eye Liner in Matte Black to my upper eye lid only. I either choose a cat eye or winged look. I was inspired to do this a few years ago by Lauren Conrad's Style Book! Check out her tutorial here, I could never explain it better then the master. I've gotten multiple compliments and questions on how I achieve my look. It is well worth the effort and practice it may take for perfection!

5 - Apply a coat or two of Maybelline Great Lash Washable Mascara in Blackest Black. This is a great drug store mascara. For a while I used Diorshow Iconic Mascara which is phenomenal, but cost $28.50. I don't have the budget for that so this is a great, affordable substitute.

6 - Next, I dot and blend my blemishes with Neutrogena SkinClearing Blemish Concealer. No complaints for a concealer that fights your acne while it conceals!

7 - I received a sample of Nars Orgasm Illuminator  from Sephora and when that ran out I promptly bought a full size one. Illuminator is like bronzer on crack, highlighting your cheeks in a way powder never even thought about. I recommend this for anyone looking to set up their make up game. Often I save this for special occasion or when I want to look really foxy.

8 - For everyday use and as a supplement to the illuminator, I apply Neutrogena SkinClearing Blemish Concealer. I use bronzer on a regular day basis instead of the typical pink/ red blushes. I have fair skin with pinkish undertones so I don't feel the need to add to them with more pink powder.

9 - I've been using the same set of elf brushes forever. Probably not healthy, I should clean them more often. Though for as cheap as they were they haven't given out on me yet!

10 - I love a good pop of lip color. I will wear red but my favorite is Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor in Fuchsia Fever. This Hot Pink shade gives me a 80's rocker vibe that I adore.

11 - Finally, for a real fancy night out I'll top my lipstick off with DuWop Lip Venom. Gives your lips a little tingle as it plumps your lips and your confidence!
